Manufacturing method and technological process of round neodymium magnets
This article describes the process of making round neodymium magnets
Neodymium iron boron, also known as NdFeB magnet, is a tetragonal crystal system formed by neodymium, iron and boron (Nd2Fe14B).
In 1982, Masato Sagawa of Sumitomo special metals in Japan discovered neodymium magnets. The magnetic energy product (BHmax) of this magnet is larger than that of SmCo magnet, which is the largest material in the world at that time.
Later, Sumitomo special metals successfully developed the powder metallurgy process of round neodymium magnets. General Motors has successfully developed the melt spinning process of round neodymium magnets, which can prepare round neodymium magnets. This kind of magnet is the most powerful magnet nowadays, and it is also the most commonly used rare earth magnet.

The manufacturing process of round neodymium magnets is as follows: proportioning → smelting ingot making / belt throwing → pulverizing → pressing → sintering and tempering → magnetic detection → grinding → pin cutting → electroplating → finished product. Among them, proportioning is the basis and sintering tempering is the key.
Round neodymium magnets blank production tools and performance testing tools: melting furnace, belt throwing furnace, nipper, air flow mill, press molding machine, vacuum packaging machine, isostatic press, sintering furnace, heat treatment vacuum furnace, magnetic property tester, Gauss meter.
Round neodymium magnets: centerless grinding, rounding machine, double end grinding, flat grinding, slicing machine, double-sided grinding, wire cutting, bench drill, special-shaped grinding, etc.
This is the manufacturing process of round neodymium magnets.
